Welcome to our home from home

Welcome to our Verbier apartment! Sitting away from the road and on the south side of the Rue de Ransou and beneath Le Rouge golf course, Chalet Riant Mont hosts spectacular and uninterrupted views of the Petit Combin and the Mauvoisin Valley in the distance below.

About the chalet and local area

The apartment is situated in the centre of Verbier, close to all the restaurants and bars, only 5 minutes walk from the Place Centrale. The apartment is set back from the road and shops and benefits from being quiet and tranquil while still remaining very central.

A bus stop is situated within 3 minutes either way of the apartment and during the winter you can ski to Le Rouge restaurant, enjoy an après ski glass of wine before walking the 100 meters home and importantly avoiding the Medran ski hub at the end of a busy day.

Our 200 square meter apartment consists of a large open plan sitting room, dining area with semi-enclosed kitchen, four double bedrooms, three bathrooms (two en-suite), a separate washroom and a gallery mezzanine snug with two sofas. There is a large balcony overlooking the valley as seen in the pictures below and a front balcony overlooking the Rue de Ransou.

There are two garage spaces, two ski lockers and a laundry room should you need this.

Interesting Information and some polite do’s and don’ts!

Verbier has just about everything that a summer and winter sports resort has to offer. A great bus route – there is a timetable, restaurant guide and important numbers for you in a file in the apartment. There are some very well stocked supermarkets as indicated on the map above. Both have car parks and as always – shop early to avoid queues and disappointments!

The Tourist information is a great hive of information and this is to be found in the Place Central. Restaurants are bountiful and as with all resorts – some better than others. You will find a list of those in the welcome pack along with telephone numbers. Book early as in busy times you will need to be organised.

A few Rules

Firstly, we love our neighbours so please be quiet and respect their space.

There are shoe cupboards outside the front door – please do use these or leave your shoes neatly under the shared bench outside the door. Always use the garage door to enter the apartment with Ski boots and skis please. Never the front door. No ski boots or any ski equipment to be brought upstairs and left outside the door of the apartment. No shoes in the house – so please bring slippers with you! And please No Smoking.

We have some friends that will show you around the house when you get there – a meet and greet service if you will – and they will also be on hand when you leave as well.
